I bought this one for use on my MiBox and it works great with my headset that supports Aptx-LL. Picked this one as it supports two connections simultaneously, we use that for watching movies late at night without disturbing the neighbors.
I doubt that your tv supports BT 5.0
It's not about the Bluetooth version but the codec and the Bluetooth stack (Android's particularly slow). Ideally you should have emitter and receiver supporting low latency codecs like aptX Low Latency.
