I just received my MECOOL KM6 Deluxe box 5 days ago and I find out that the device will not awake from sleep/suspend mode with the remote control and it won’t power on with a remote, I tried leaving emails to Mecool’s official website requesting a firmware update but they haven’t responded in 3 days. Has anyone had a issue like this? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help? I want to be able to control and view my Windows PC on my Google TV. I can Chromecast it and that works fine but the mouse and keyboard signal doesn't reach due to the PC being too far away.

Is their any solution anyone could recommend that would allow me to use a mouse and keyboard while streaming to the TV.

I have inserted a 64gb pen drive and formated it as internal storage and also enabled to force all apps to external storage in the developer option. I still get storage shortage message and cannot install new apps anymore. Is there a fix?

(my external storage still has about 50gb free space)

Owned for 1 weeks, 2021 75inch. It has NEVER worked properly. Half the time it 'doesn't hear me' with mic animation showing no detection, other times does absolutely nothing pressing remote or selecting icon from UI. I've updated, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared, factory reset, toggled hardware switches on and off, powered down for minutes. It's just a joke. It won't wake up from off using voice, it won't play next episode or any other netflix commands. Sometime it just flashes a white or gray screen in response to Hey Google. And the lame advertisement video has someone saying OK Google in the first 4 seconds causing all my devices to get spammed with the ad narrator. Lame!

I'm pretty new in this tech so I have no idea where to start to look.

My only goal is to be able to watch streaming services and youtube, and ocasionally play emulators, hopefully up to the SEGA Dreamcasts.

I don't know which one is the best. For what I look up, Amazon had its own version, there are Android TV box with Android 9 and others with Android 11. Some look like a tiny stick and others look like a small CPU.

I have no idea where to go with this.

I've had this service for about ten years and I'd have to say I'm most disappointed with the updated app. I've had several problems across several streamers including Shield TV, Google TV, and Amazon FireTV. Support states that they do not support Google TV or Shield, but they do support FireTV and the issues are all the same on them.

My first issue is I am asked to log into my account each time I load up the app to play replays through game pass. This wasn't an issue with the previous version of the app.

My second issue cropped up Monday where I noticed that not all the games were available on the app through these streaming devices for week 2.

My other streaming device is an Xbox One and it runs last year's app. It has none of these issues.

So about 4 months ago I successfully sideloaded the GoogleTV Launcher onto my laggy Hisense Android TV. Up until yesterday I have had absolutely no issues whatsoever and enjoyed the experience that GoogleTV affords me.

Then all of a sudden yesterday out of the blue all my apps started crashing constantly, with Google Play Services being the primary one that keeps crashing. It has gotten to the point where literally every app (including HMDI sources!) are crashing and making the TV unusable in any capacity.

I have tried to factory reset but it appears as though that didn’t even go through (Almost as if the OS prevented from happening) and if I am too slow every time I unplug and replug in the tv it prevents me from even reaching device preferences.

I have tried to connect to the TV via ADB so that I can reset back to the default launcher but it appears to not even recognize my laptop (Will keep troubleshooting this) to connect over tcpip.

I can’t seem to have found anyone online who has encountered this issue so I was hoping someone hear had any thoughts?

hey i was wondering before buying is there any android tv box that alow streaming of regular tv channels but from the internet. we need 15 tv boxes or so wondering if Xiaomi mi box would work. also need to be able to watch a youtube or facebook stream. if its possible to have a shortcut to the stream.

As stated... I go to you tube (phone or ATV), search for something, find it. Go to Smart Tube Next, search for exactly the same thing, it doesn't find it.

It's not like it doesn't find anything. It can find answers to lots of searches. But some it totally fails on. It's there something I'm missing? Shouldn't this be simple?

Hi. I bought a new ST 42" android 9 tv and i have an issue. When i have an app opened, and when i press the home button, the app closes itself and i need to open it again. This also blocks opening multiple apps at the same time unlike android box where you can open as many apps as you want. Is there anything i can do or android tv's are all like this?

I have recently bought a xpc nano NS02E (Android 8.1) from Shuttle for signage purposes. It unfortunately can't read PDF files. The help desk of the signage software I'm using (Xibo) has confirmed me that it uses Android System WebView to display PDF files.

The Android System WebView installed is the v76 and it uses 14.34ko of internal storage (which seems ridiculously low). The Shuttle box doesn't natively have the Play Store. Therefore I have downloaded the latest WebView apk from various sites but the update always ends with "App not installed".

Do you think of any other way to update Android System WebView ?
