After some month, my experience with Android TV is now complete. These are all the stuff that I configured/bought:
If you are having problems with the USB port, disable debug USB if you have enable it because it disables all the (other) function of the USB port as storage, networking etc...
for PSX emulation I suggest to use PCSX ReARMed as core, other cores with this Mi Box gave me errors, PCSX ReARMed just works!
Hey guys! I've started making a site with some content I've been filming lately regarding Kodi installs with awesome skins, all sorts of addons, debrid services and more as well as other Android Streaming apps. I also have a video or 2 on modding the Onn Walmart 4K box (20$) -- please check it out! I also have a telegram for it too:

Hey everyone,
I have an ADT-3, and I manually upgraded it to Google TV 12. Google TV is the new UI that will eventually replace the tried and true Android TV UI that most other TVs and boxes use.
Everything was going well for the past couple months but I got an update this morning that downgraded me back to the Android TV UI. Has this happened to anyone else?
I'm guessing that it's probably because the build number is newer (adt3-stt1.211025.001.z4) than the Google TV build (adt3_gtv-stt1.211025.001.z3) which is why the box saw it as an upgrade.
I know there was a thread on this here, but it is eleven months old, and things may have changed.
I just bought the above projector here in Europe, updated it to the latest software and wanted to install Netflix from Play Store, but it is shown as not found.
I tried to cast Netflix from my phone over the built in Chromecast and Google Home (I even added the G account especially created for my projector to my existing G account on GHome), but the projector never appears in the list of devices I can cast to, only in G Home.
I then side-loaded an old Netflix APK from here. It worked, although with several extra steps where I was asked to update the app (I didn't). Also, it seems that the resolution is not the highest possible, and films cannot be paused with the Mi remote. Finally (and a great inconvenience), Netflix does not appear anywhere in the list of apps, so presumably it will have to be "staged" on an ad hoc basis from the stick every time I want to watch it. Hardly an option for the kids.
I am thinking now if I should get myself some other intermediary device to cast/play Netflix on, so that the projector only acts as a screen. I use Chromecast on my old TV in another room. If I simply plug it into the projector, will it:
work considering that the projector has its own Chromecast built in,
recognise the projector and prevent playback?
Alternatively, is there another cheap device to play Netflix on?
Thanks.
