Would I need a Firestick if I bought this tv, or any tv with android OS?

by Obblers

I'm still using an old 720p plasma. I have a Firestick plugged in to use Tivimate, Prime, YT and CinemaHD mainly

If I bought an Android TV (like the one linked) would I be able to down/sideload these apps? The specs say nothing about storage etc

If the TV is actually running Android TV you can install apps from the Play Store for TV. So in the absolute sense no added device is needed. Now that doesn't mean the TV will have the processing power necessary to run the OS well or the apps you really won't know that until you actually use it.

You should be able to either get them from the G Play store (or another app store which can be loaded), and yes you can sideload as well.
