If I only want to use them for watching will the Mi Box has any benefits over the Mi Stick? And how is the UI navigation on the stick is it smooth, with no lag and good load times?
Another thing the store page not making it clear if it is the MI box or Mi Box S. If it is the Mi box is it still an upgrade over the stick?
The second generation Xiaomi Mi Stick 4K with 2GB of RAM (there is one previous model with only 1GB of RAM) is better than the old Mi Box because of the SoC, the one in the stick is more recent and it supports the new AV1 video codec and it has Android 11 unlike Android 9 in the Mi Box S, however, take a look at this list for other devices you may take into account:
