Hi all Is there a way to get Netflix hd for my mecool km7.

Hi guys I'm having issues casting my phone to my tv. .they both are Xiaomi.. Mi 10 T lite and a mi tv p1 series 55inch... So it's been a while since I both both equipments and there's always been this issue ..!! Can't cast .. With my previous phone OnePlus. I could cast without a problem . So I was wondering what the problem must be!! Both equipments are up to date in terms of software. !! When I open Netflix HBO prime video or even Disney I can cast without a problem..when trying to cast my phone screen int to the tv there's the big big issue. !!. I will appreciate any tips.or help.... thanks in advance!!

I've been conflicted on what one to use, especially I've been having trouble with tv audio with the mi box.

I have a one plus 8 and Im trying to cast videos from asian drama websites to the onn android tv box but when I click the cast button a connecting screen with the cast image appears but it doesnt play the videos. It either closes abruptly or stays in the same screen. Did I get a defective unit?

It's weird because casting from google chrome works perfectly fine when I cast videos from my phone to my google hub 2nd gen.

I grabbed a Tivo stream 4k and it randomly will reboot itself. It doesn't seem to matter what app I'm using or seem to be any sort of pattern to it. Some times I can watch for 5 - 6 hours and nothing happens and other times it reboots every 30 minutes. It has the latest software update. I'll be watching and suddenly the screen goes black and then the tivo logo pops up then the android tv logo and then back to the home screen it goes.

The box is pretty hot to the touch all the time too. I am using the power brick that came with it.

Should I try a stronger charger? The default brick it comes with is a 1 amp should I try my old samsung phone charger that is 2 amps?

Ive tried a couple of things but no cigar. Snapdrop was nice but cant figure out where the files went. Used Amaze file manager but it just gives me empty folders. There has to be an easy way to do this.

Edit: Ended up just “donating” to X-plore to unlock ftp because that one works the most intuitively and the UI is nice. Thanks everyone.

It's not for me, as I usually prefer the most powerful gadget lol.

But a friend wants an Android box to: watch local news, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, chromecast, and perhaps some light browsing.

I guess both can do that, but just wondering if the MI TV S can handle that flawlessly? Or maybe there's a way to configure it so that it does? Or should I just make my friend spend more and go for the Shield?

I owned TV last time around 15 years ago so my knowledge is little bit outdated and I need help. I tried to do some google fu about previous buying advices but didn't find any suitable results for me.

TV and soundbar:

• Samsung Frame 2022
• Samsung HW-Q995B

Expected usage

• Netflix, Disney+ etc...
• Stremio with VPN
• Maybe youtube sometimes

Features which I need/want

• Dolby atmos
• 4k 60fps
• HDR (maybe?, since I haven't experienced it before)

I do not need

• Plex, storage etc.. (I have server for those things)

Some thinking about shield pro 4k HDR

• Outdated HW without support of new codecs?
• At least youtube would not support HDR with my understanding
• There has been lot issues with 4k output when googling (are those for older shield pro or does "new" one also have issues?)

Some thinking about GCGTV

• Google, so ads.. Should be possible to change launcher....
• No upscaling
• WTF means Doulby Atmos pass-trough? Does it have support for it or no?

Others

• First I was thinking to buy Nokia streaming, but it does not support Dolby Atmos and it was deal breaker
• If you know any other please let me know

I'm trying to figure out (if possible) how to tell my Google Assistant to play something on the TV.

I have the little square Onn Streaming Box and it's connected to my Google Home. So, the same way I can say "Hey Google, turn bedroom light off" when I'm not home and it does, is there a way I can tell it to cast anything on any streaming service? Everything I've looked up is just telling me about the android remote control feature.

In any event, sometimes I put the wrong service on for my Dog when I leave for background noise and it eventually stops and shows "Are you still watching?". So if there's no way to play something remotely, what are my alternatives? if any

I bought and returned a cheap Samsung TV running Tizen yesterday as it was terrible slow. Streaming apps struggled to load videos, resulting in a black screen.

Are there any inexpensive Android TV's (max 300$) that's not terrible slow at navigating menus and loading video streams? Anyone tried the Xiaomi MI 4A 32 inch or the Xiaomi P1 32 inch?

Got a new X85J. The issue I encountered was google tv home not updating. On the play store it shows there’s an update it tries to install but gets stuck on pending and then fails. Every other app is updated.

So basically I'm thinking of buying a touchscreen portable monitor along with a android tv box or maybe chromecast 4 for Google tv. I've googled for answers but it's confusing since some people say it works and some don't. Does touchscreen work on android tv or google tv?

The TV in question is a model 40SF1 ffalcon It's got the little light bar and the power button behind that but no remote, I've tried the press and hold, the press once and every thing on the internet I could find but nothing works it just turns on and then straight off again

Google voice search not showing plex results

The main reason I got the android tv with google tv Chromecast was for the easy voice search. However, when I search for a movie that I have in plex, there is no option to open it in plex. I have plex pass premium and have already tried resetting my google tv , and both are in the same network .

The only options I have are "Watch trailer" "Google play" I've tried everything, why the hell is the plex option not showing?

Has anyone found out how to permanently disable opera soap effect on tcl android tv please? I have blur reduction and judder reduction set to 2, but it is always activated when I turn the TV off and on. it annoys me. in the settings, the value is still 2, but you can clearly see on the image that the opera soap effect is active (very smooth movement) and the value is 10. I have to go to the settings and change the values ​​from 2 to 3 and from 3 to 2 each time.

edit: I returned the TV and bought new ones. Shit that does not understand the basic settings...

Hi, I recently updated my tcl c725 and have lost dolby atmos on disney plus and Apple tv, I can still view dolby vision though

Is there any way I can manually install DA?

Has anyone in the past faced the same?

Edit: I tried again and atmos works on apple tv+ so ig it is the same problem although I'm on android tv 11

Update: I have installed Google tv with same android v11 instead of Android tv and dolby atmos works with it

I have checked the app version and it is the latest one on GTV as well as atv previously

I have a TCL C725 TV running Android TV OS Version 11...and I desperately want to turn HDR off but can't.

I have found a bunch of cheat codes for entering service menus, but they all require FF and FR and/or play buttons and/or number buttons... none of which my remote has.

I have enabled the Developer Menu but there is nothing in there about HDR.

I have a new Xion Smart TV 50’. All apps are working OK (YouTube, Netflix, etc) but I’m paying for TV stream to a local operator (TCC Vivo app). I can use the app on any Smart TV box but it can’t “see” the WIFI connection on the TV. When opening the app, all the time I receive a message saying there is not internet connection. The system info: RealtekATV, Android 9. I can’t find how to “force” the app to use the active WIFI connection (config options) as all the other apps. I tried installing the app from Play Store and from APKPure (last and older version) with no luck. Is there any way to fix this behaviour in this device?
