Cant see Disney Plus on the Play Store but it is on my apple tv. Could it be that my play store is located to some other country? If so, how can I change it?

Hi, I have a number of kodi boxes that I do not use anymore. I was wondering if anyone had tried to repurpose it as a VC unit that would use a USB webcam\Mic and TV. I'm thinking it would be handy to keep in touch. there are android clients for Webex,zoom,teams pretty much most of the vc clients.

Any thoughts as to whether this would be possible would be appreciated.

Netflix, Prime and HBO work fine on 5.1 (DD+) but Disney+ only does 2.0
Is this problem related to Disney+ app or related to Xiaomi/Disney license issues (as Prime few months ago)?

Hi all, I have two Android TV's (a Philips 7100 and a Mi TV 4X) with Chromecast built in. Unfortunately I read that Google Home doesn't support TV's with Chromcast built-in. Is there any wokraround or possibility that I can let my Google Home at least turn the TV on? Or does anyone know if this will be possible in future updates?

Bit of a shame that these high-end TV's don't support such a simple function.

So I have TCL Peerce TV(it said in settings when it was working) and the problem is that it freezes in android loading screen(that 4 dots) it just plays the animation forever. I tried restarting by plugging in and out the tv but it didn’t do anything. Is there a way to fix it? Edit: and also, I don’t have a reset button on my Tv

Hi, when I was on Oreo HDR playback on Netflix worked flawlessly. But since an update I wasn't able to do that again. All apps are up to date tho.

My remote got into the washing machine (yeah, I know...) so I want to disassemble it in order to clean it and let it dry thoroughly. I only found a video showing how to disassemble the old Mi Box controller (it has 2 screws in the battery compartment and then more under the circular pad). But in the video they take the circular pad out easily with a credit card. I have tried the same thing with mine and it seems like the pad is thicker and is not just glued to what is underneath. Anyone with experience disassembling this thing could lend me a hand? TIA

I usually cut the power off my setup when am not using it meaning that i usually turn off the system when its in standby. But lately i have been facing this weird issue where after every boot the remote fails to connect to the box and i have to take out the batteries , wait a few seconds, and then hope it would work...anyone else experiencing this and has any fix for this ?. I checked the battery level and its 70% which it think is plenty. I use a mi box s and its using Android 8 right now

Long storie short was messing around with developer settings and change something about display to 4K which my tv natively runs at and it now sends me to a black screen spitting out display and pixel ratio any suggestions my tb does have any buttons apart from power all I got is a remote

I am seeking a Google certified Android TV box. 4k is not super important as I'm still on 1080p and will be for a while yet. The important part is that it runs as many of the following apps (all legit).

1. Sky go
2. Prime video
3. Netflix
4. Disney+
5. BT Sports

I was hunting for a skystream 3+ but I've now been told they aren't official playstore apps (hence the certified requirement)

I can't pair the ps4 controller with mi box s it keeps pairing but it never gets paired

Yesterday, Steam Link was working just fine on my Shield TV 2019.

Today, I don't know what's changed but it doesn't seem to be playing nicely at all, as soon as the Big Picture interface loads up on my TV it look off. The Remote Play notification also doesn't disappear.

Also, my Shield controller isn't working at all with Steam Link and this is the main issue. Steam Link responds to my Shield Pro remote but not to the game controller. It'll respond in the key mapping section of the app but as soon as I connect to my PC and Big Picture loads, it stops recognising it.

Feels like a bug that may be just happening today, anyone else having issues?

We rented Emma on our FireStick and never finished it. Now we are trying to watch it on our Nvidia Shield in the living room and it is saying this:

"You're subscribee to through Prime Video Channels. restricts its content through Prime Video Channels on this device. See devices you can watch on at amazon.com/primevideodevices."

So they are saying they arent allowing me to watch on my device?

Edit: it's only with the Prime Cinema rental Emma. I can watch another movie I rented on any device.

Did anyone face an issue while watching videos on their mi box, when the audio is low the audio completely cuts off. This happened on vlc and mx player. Especially when there are scenes with low sound the audio just cuts off momentarily.

Recently my android TV updated and they changed the home screen which now looks really ugly and is bloated with ads, how do I go back to the good one with recommendations n stuff

I want to play torrent directly. I dont want to install Stremio, or another app like that, just want to go a web, touch the link to torrent or magnet, and see the movie, with VLC for example.

Stremio have that option but i dont need all that.

Is like elementum of kodi, or Quantum also... what i want.
