We rented Emma on our FireStick and never finished it. Now we are trying to watch it on our Nvidia Shield in the living room and it is saying this:
"You're subscribee to through Prime Video Channels. restricts its content through Prime Video Channels on this device. See devices you can watch on at amazon.com/primevideodevices."
So they are saying they arent allowing me to watch on my device?
Edit: it's only with the Prime Cinema rental Emma. I can watch another movie I rented on any device.
There is a well known problem with Amazon Prime on Shield with specific 4K/HDR content. Both Amazon and NVidia are working on it: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/shield-tv/9/347034/nvidia-sheild-tv-pro-not-playing-4k-moviesseries-o/
One important thing to know is that if you use the beta fix patches you will loose access to some copyright content. This dose not happen normally with official normal releases.
They let me rent one on the Shield last night, then didn't let me watch it on the Shield. I was able to get a refund immediately, but damn that's dumb. Took my money elsewhere.
HBO Go is also blocked on ShieldTV...
Had a random error after I bought Jumanji (1995) in 4k a couple nights ago. I was however able to Chromecast it from my phone :/
