I've been using Smarttube TV for a long time...for the last few days I keep getting this super long error message (at least it looks like that) even on my YouTube tv which is our version of cable. It's worrying me because these messages are also showing in Netflix etc...any tips?

currently the mii box S sells for $66. i currently have a fire stick 4k . the main issue i have is that i cannot use my ntfs hdd . i bought the otg cable that works with it {it can read usb and hdd formatted to FAT} but it does not support ntfs. i would like to be able to access netflix,amazon prime,plex,youtube etc... with the option to read my ext hdd.

any options ?

I'm using a TVision HUB with Google TV (which is essentially a T-Mobile branded Chromecast with Google TV) on a Philips monitor, which has really bad speakers. I was wondering whether there's a way for me to stream the audio from the Google TV to an AirPlay speaker I have or whether there's a way to use the 3.5mm jack on my monitor to output its audio to the AirPlay speaker. Open to using dongles/adapters as needed.

I just bought a TV with androidTV built in. It's my first smart TV and I'm already a bit surprised that there seems to be no other way to access options like "picture settings" other than clicking 15 times on a button. I thought google assistant would be smart enough to handle that but no (am I missing something?). I tried Button Mapper to remap one of the color buttons but I couldn't find any option to access any "specific" setting.

Is there really no chance to do something like this? Are smart TV really so dumb?

I'm open to any solution, wheather it's a shortcut or buying a remote with more buttons or automating a task or whatever. If anyone knows please help! Thank you :)

Hi, About a month ago I bought 55OLED806 Google TV. I think I'm starting to regret that decision.

The TV will randomly just switch itself on to show ads for buying films. It's not frequent, but I feel violated - it's one thing to get ads when you actually use TV, it's completely different ballpark when you're trying to have romantic dinner with you SO only to have TV go blasting trailer for "Dune" (as good as this film is).

I have PiHole for my network installed, but apparently it caj go around this. I don't want to disconnect the TV from internet completely, since Android apps for Netflix etc are very convenient; however I'm willing to block everything Google, YouTube included (I don't use it on TV).

I tried googling for the solution, but it seems almost as if none else noticed this issue. Have you?

I had my mibox connected to internet via TP link plugs. But I've had to use them to connect my son's PS5. So I tried to connect mibox to WiFi.....but it can't find network. Is there a setting i need to turn back on to receive WiFi again?? Edit- it sees the correct network but won't connect

This 43s446 TCL is buggy as hell.

PC mode doesn't work properly when connecting a pc to the TV. The RTINGS chroma 444 test does not show clean text, and my PCs can output 4k60 4:4:4.

I'm old school and want FF and rewind buttons on my remote. I see most of these units that I'm looking at don't have this - onn tv box or mecool km2 for example. How are these functions handled? Do you have to pause and then access the playback controls on screen?

Can my Roku remote work with these units as it has the functions I and more importantly my partner needs.

Youtube on android TV (I'm using a chromecast with android TV built in) seems to randomly enable subtitles every now and then, and it's really annoying to have to disable them all the time. Is there a permanent way of fixing this?

hi, I just installed the 2nd hotfix and I still can't access Kodi via PC.

when I click on \\SHIELD\internal\Android\data\xbmc.org.kodi nothing happens.

I thought the hotflix address these issues.

Hi can anyone please help me on Hulu? The Picture is very dark can barely see it. I have restart my modem I have restarted the device. I have bought a new HDMI cable I have tried different ports. I also have a Nvidia shield tv pro 2019 and amazon fire tv cube Second generation when playing anything on Hulu the picture is great this just happens on Chromecast with Google TV. What do you think would be going on. My Samsung 4K Smart TV picture quality is great. Thank you very much for any help on this . 

I click disk map and I move to the right or left to explore the folders and delete things but it doesn’t allow me to view any of the folders after it scans.

Is it supposed to let me delete things from disk map or is that just to see the files and not explore and delete from it?

I have a continuous issue with having Chromecast work on my GoogleTV. The system app keeps updating to the newest version, which then prevents me from casting to GoogleTV. This issue is resolved by going to system app settings and uninstalling all updates. As you might imagine though, it is quite annoying and tedious to do this every few days.

Is there any way to prevent an app from auto-updating on GoogleTV?
