$20 device so this is really no deal breaker but since I haven’t seen anything about it I figured I’d ask. The microphone on my Onn 4k android tv remote never worked. Out of the box never worked. Turned assistant on and granted all permissions. Factory restored. Nothing works. Any ideas?

I agree with what the other poster said. Return/replace. I have recommended them to about 4 people. I personally have 2, between the others we probably have about 8 between all of us and all the voice remotes work perfectly. With all the apps and 3rd party like tivimate and syncler on all of our box's. Definitely sounds like a defective remote/device.

I got one and the hbo max button quit working.  Worked fine for awhile
