I know that if I press the source button it will let me also choose the subtitle option but when I press load from the internet and type in the title it doesn't bring up anything.

📺: Haier 4K UHD Smart Android TV (LE43K6600UGA)--As we all know, most Android TVs supports only USB with FAT32 format. But we cannot write a file more than 4 GB into this USB. I have Kodak Android tv. I have searched the settings. There is no picture settings found in the settings. Due to that I'm not able to change the brightness, contrast,RGB. Any solutions?

I have a TCL 65S546 running Android TV OS version 11. Is there an easy way to change inputs? Preferably with either an app on the homescreen or a button on the remote.

I put the TV app on the homescreen and it originally went to HDMI2 (my bluray player). But, after hitting the tv button on the remote which launches the antenna, the TV app goes to antenna rather than HDMI2. The TV app appears to go to whatever input was last selected, while the remote's TV button always goes to HDMI2. I don't have an antenna attached, but the remote button gets accidentally pressed often (kids...)

Is there a way to make the TV app always go to HDMI2, disable the remote's TV button, program the TV button to go to HDMI2, or load another app that will launch HDMI2?

I know I can go to settings and choose a different input. But I'm looking for a simple, obvious solution on the homescreen or remote that will let my wife switch to dvd without hunting for it.

Hello. I managed to format a USB stick to be an internal storage device on my android tv.

Moved a lot of apps there. I have some files (game roms) on an external USB device. I want to move those roms as described above.

However I can't see the internal USB drive on any of the file manager apps I've tried.

I can see the the main built in drive and external USB. But not the internal USB.

I have an onn 4k streaming box and the remote disconnected and only shows a solid green light. It won't respond to the pairing combination or any button presses. What happened and do I have to buy a new one?

I have a Mi TV Box S. A few months ago I got a new update which installed the new UI interface. Yesterday I was watching a show on Netflix while being connected to a VPN Server in the U.K. It switch my UI without telling me back to the old one. It happened in the background and without a reboot. I read online that the new UI interface is only available in the U.S, Canada and Germany. My tv box automatically downgraded itself because I was connected to a UK VPN. But now it does not switch back to the new UI interface anymore (I live in Germany). I tried looking for new software updates and even tried a factory reset.

Any suggestions how to get the new Ui back?

Why is the Crackle App not activating my device when putting the code in? Since I have an account with Crackle, I can't activate my account on the device.

I recently purchased a Chromecast with Google tv. I previously had a Xiaomi Mibox 3 and overall I'm happy with the much faster Chromecast. I use this one in particular to play videos stored on my Synology NAS via KODI. I have no problem playing x264 videos of around 20 gigs. Reading a file in x265 (HEVC) format does not work correctly, however: it is very jerky (an image every 2/3 seconds and sound does not work correctly). I tried with several files and the result is always the same. My old Mibox 3 played these files perfectly, so I think the Chromecast must be able to do this too.

I regularly use a different account for watching YouTube which is also the account I pay for Premium on. I simply want to use that account only for YouTube and my main Gmail account that I use for everything else as the Google TV account. It worked fine before profiles were added; which I understand is a useful feature for many people but I have no use for them. The only workaround I've found is to use a custom YT app like Smartube TV Next but it doesn't just function as YouTube so things like redirecting from the dashboard and YT Premium content don't work. Switching accounts every time I want to use YouTube is a real hassle and I always forget to change back so my GTV recommendations are all over the place. Not to mention if someone else wants to use their YT account it's the same issues. Just messy. Should just be an option to use an account just for the app like every other non Google app.

I have some niche streaming apps (not available on the store) will I be able to install them on this device?

I've added a second Gmail account to my TV following the instructions on the TV. I chose the streaming services I wanted in it and confirmed. But when I go to switch profiles, it's not listed. It only gives me an option to add a kids account or manage accounts. If I choose manage accounts, I see the "other account" listed but the only option that gives me is to remove. I'm mainly looking for a way to change profiles in YouTube. Is there another step that isn't documented? I'm on a Sony Bravia X85J.

Hello, this might be a long shot but I am completely dumbfounded at what is causing this. My Philips TV has started glitching at random. It happened first a couple of months ago during the span of maybe a few days, then it completely stopped by itself up until a couple of days ago where it started again. It doesn’t matter if I am watching “normal” tv or if I am chromecasting Netflix or such and it isn’t always constant.

Sometimes the TV can be on for a couple of hours before it starts glitching, and other times it happens as soon as I start it. Sometimes restarting the tv helps for some time and others times there’s no difference. The TV was bought in 2019 so it it isn’t very old or anything. Is it repairable? Or is it time for a new TV?

VPN dude here again. My Android TV keeps closing apps the moment I switch to a new one and I assume that's why my VPNs aren't connecting. Also I just got this TV with an internal storage of 8GB but there's only 1 GB that's free. Any idea how to resolve both issues?

hey there, bought mi stick recently and tried to download a remote control. i downloaded MATVT but whilst trying the app i accidentally attached select button to toggle dpad-scroll mode. is there anyway to fix this, i could not even reset the device because controller does not control the screen when restarting.
