I just bought Mi box 4K, any suggestions and tips and tricks.

[USA] Currently run a 2nd gen Firestick which is constantly running out of memory. I run Jarvis IPTV via TiviMate,Netflix,Mobdro,Tubi & Kodi. Which wipes out the FS memory. I just want something basic to run these apps w/ no memory concerns. Budget around $60.

Hey guys, just checking if anyone is aware of any hacks we can use for watching Apple TV+ on Android tv? I have the new Chromecast with Google TV.

Sideloading the Android app doesn't work, I can only play it on a laptop on chrome browser and then cast the tab and that is cumbersome.

Hi all, I bought a Philips 55PUS7334/12 4 months ago and over the past few weeks it has become and absolute nightmare to use.

Apps constantly freeze, the source tag (like HDMI 1, DTV, USB) stay on permanently in the top left of the screen, Ethernet and Wifi drop randomly, it doesn’t work well with my google home (it just ignores any commands) and just the UI in general is slow.

I tried solving this by limiting background processes and turning off animations but that’s only seemed to make things worse and now pop ups appear all the time regarding apps stopping working (default android notification) even when not using them.

Does anyone know what I can do? Since I bought it 4 months ago I doubt I can send it back because trust me if I could I would...

I just got a Sony X900H TV and the remote is having issues. It stays connected as long as I use it, but once I set it down it disconnects and doesn’t work. What I do to reconnect it each time is taking a battery in and out, it then reconnects, but it’s very annoying to do every five minutes. I tired changing the battery’s, removing battery’s for 10 mins, removing battery and unplugging tv. I tried looking at the Bluetooth connected devices but the remote isn’t even there, please someone help me! Thank you.

So I typically watch TV at night with Bluetooth earbuds in since we have a newborn sleeping in the room. Ever since the update, I no longer receive audio after I pair my earbuds to the TV :(

I've tried unpairing them, forgetting the earbuds, restarting the TV.. nothing seems to work.

Anyone else have this issue?

Since I've got button mapper installed, I can only increase volume in increments, not hold it down. Any fix?

I'm using Android 9.0, and it's a Pain In The Ass trying to get enterprise Wi-Fi to work. Been trying to connect to XFINITY network (the secured version of xfinitywifi), and the damn Android TV can't let me type in my username. Even then, it'll probably ask for a certificate I don't have. Also, it doesn't let me install the Hotspots app. Wi-Fi managers are superficial too. Is there any possible workaround for this problem??

To people that are using an android TV, what are your thoughts on using the chromecast with google TV?

I know it's redundant but sometimes the android TV interface is slow and lags a lot.

So I bought a new TV recently, it rendomely reboots without any warning the tv is up to date on system update plus Google updates but I noticed it always reboots when the Spotify app is open. is this any bug or a manufacturing defect or an update issue I really need some thoughts here.

As the title says. After I performed on update on my Sony TV (about 5 years old) the ESPN+ app has stopped working. It starts out very low quality, then within 10-15 seconds the quality gets better but then I keep getting green screens and lagging to the point where it just buffers. I have tried to use both ethernet and wifi. I have also factory reset both the apps and the tv. The app works in other tv's around the home (not android tv's) and other apps like CBS & Youtube work perfectly fine. Any recommendations or help?

I recently bought a Haier Android TV. We rarely use the apps/ smart features on the TV and it would be great if the TV showed my HDMI input by default instead of the Android home screen.

This is mainly for my grandparents- they are quite old and not comfortable with the routine of (turn on tv with remote 1, but the home screen loads up -> change input to hdmi -> change channel using remote 2)

The TV model is a Haier LE32K6000GA. But I'd love any advice on how you might have done it with your tv.

TL;DR: I do not want to see the Android TV home screen with all its apps when i turn on the tv. Is there a way to make it default to the HDMI input (like a non-smart tv?)

The FireTV 4k does support Miracast out of the box.

I could use Windows+P on my Windows 10 laptop and use the FireTV 4k as secondary display, ether clone, extend or use only this display.

I can't do this with the Chromecast with Google TV or the Shield TV 2019 which are both Android TV devices. Do I need a special app to make that working properly? Does anyone have experience with that?

I know about the possibility to "stream my desktop" via google Chrome, but it's not the same. You can't extend your desktop that way.

I know that there are Android apps which bring this function. I am just asking if I somehow miss the integrated feature or if someone has a recommendation (as there seem to be thousands of apps for that).

I have a mi box s and have side loaded a few app however they load up in portrait mode. Is there anyway to force the apps to be landscape so I can use them on the tv? Also I keep getting an error that google play services cant load, and I need to always reinstall the mobile version to get the side loaded apps to work any solutions regarding this? Thanks!
