How to connect to enterprise Wi-Fi on Android TV?

by No-Set7742

I'm using Android 9.0, and it's a Pain In The Ass trying to get enterprise Wi-Fi to work. Been trying to connect to XFINITY network (the secured version of xfinitywifi), and the damn Android TV can't let me type in my username. Even then, it'll probably ask for a certificate I don't have. Also, it doesn't let me install the Hotspots app. Wi-Fi managers are superficial too. Is there any possible workaround for this problem??

Have you tried implementing a guest network? Where I work, most of our smart devices connect to our smart network for WiFi, but if they need corporate access, we utilize a small PC that is hardwired to the point corp net and connect that to the TV.

Also, does your ATV have a network port? You could just hardwire it to the closest node and eliminate the need for the security concern of WiFi.

Android TV can't allow to type user name? So the WiFi is not visible in WiFi Networks list? Is is configured as Hidden Network (Not to expose the SSID)?

When u enable WiFi, it'll show option add new network which allows to type the name of the WiFi Network.

Are you not able to get that screen? or Not able to type in that screen?
