Can the onn streaming tv box change the tv input with the included remote? I know the fire sticks can but you have to use voice witch is fine with me if the onn can do it as well.

I've been using the modified fire stick .apk that I side loaded, but now the app is saying it needs to be updated and won't open. I can't find any .apks newer than the one I already had (v4.0.23.35620 from November 2021). Anybody know where I can find a newer version or if there's a way to bypass the forced update?

I've got a TCL 65e17NUS amd a 5TB Seagate hard drive. Whenever I plug it in, it comes up with "corrupted Seagate drive" even though the hard drive is 100% fine. Tried the same thing with a 2TB drive and it worked fine.

Is 5TB too large for this TV? I'm having difficulty finding any clear information online.

UPDATE: I just got some extra money a couple of minutes ago!! Should I still go for the Onn or just spent the extra 25 dollars for the chromecast with Google TV?

Only the Arrows are working. Even "ok" button or "return" is not working.

When im pairing it to my phone, all the buttons are working correctly...

I've created a kids profile on Google TV and it's working fine; you can't leave it without typing a pin. The problem is that if you're in an adult profile when you turn off the TV you'll still be in it the next time you turn it on. Most of the time I remember to switch to the kids profile before I turn it off but sometimes I forget. Is there a way to timeout a profile login or some way to make it so you have to enter a pin every time?

EDIT: I realized I should have made the title "to prevent", sorry if this was misleading I don't think I can change it but my question is about preventing kids from accessing adult profiles.

have a 58PUS7304 android tv. It came with backdrop installed. I went to Settings > Android Settings > Device Preferences > Screen saver and enabled backdrop and set the “When to start” to 5 min. After 5 minutes of idling nothing happens. Am I dumb or is there a catch to this?

Pretty much every app running on my Shield is fine, except for two: Daily Motion and ITVhub. On both apps, the sound is about half a second ahead of the video. Just mentioning it on the off chance anyone knows of a potential fix or workaround?

I have a Sony X90J with the rmf-tx520e remote.

I tried using button remmaper to remmap the buttons, but the strange thing is that the "Youtube", "Disney+" and "prime video" buttons, are all recognised as Button 9 (the same button).

Do you have any experience with this? Or any ideas why this is happening?
