I have a Samsung 55" 4K HDR TV with CEC, Edifier 1700BT speakers paired to the CCwGTV. I don't have anything else plugged into the TV - it's exclusively used as a CC slave.
Everything works great, but the CC doesn't control BT speakers properly, a well known bug (if you know how to fix this, please enlighten me!).
Is there a remote that will work with the home/back and navigation, and control separate BT speakers? The SofaBaton, since you have to pair it as a nVidia Shield remote to get navigation to work, you can't then control BT speakers as well.
EDIT: I tried to pair the speakers directly to the TV, but for some dumbass reason, Samsung won't auto-connect to them when I power on the TV, making me go deep into the sound menu to connect to BT speakers, every time I turn on the TV.
TLDR: If we could re-map the volume buttons on the original CC remote to control speakers, that would solve my problem. Can this be done, or is there a programmable remote that works with BT volume control and actual CC menu navigation
For anyone following along with this or a similar issue, I bought a SideClick remote to attach to the CCwGTV remote, and I'll see if it works.
