Need a new box to replace my current Chinese box ... Help?

Hello all,

My current MeCool box is starting to reach the end of its life after 4 years of service and so I'm starting to look at sourcing a replacement.

My needs are very simple :

YouTube;
Streaming content from not entirely legitimate sources (Streamio etc) rather than Netflix; and
Streaming NFL (which has been most reliably done with Chrome/finding a website with a decent feed)

Before the MeCool box I had used a FireStick which worked very well for everything except football games, given the lack of Bluetooth mouse etc ... though that might have changed now / options might exist..?

I know the Nvidia Shield gets a lot of praise - but I suspect it is massively overkill for my use?

ChromeCastTV is another option I know - but not sure whether it will do everything I need?

A replacement Chinese box is what I was leaning towards - unless someone convinces me otherwise...from my very quick look around - I was thinking the H96 Max X3 maybe...?

(I'm UK based - should that be relevant)
