Xiaomi tv stick 4k or Amazon fire TV stick 4k

I need an advice from you guys.

I wanna buy myself one of these devices, but can't decide... I have couple of questions.

  1. Is sideloading easy? Because I've seen people complaining that they can't do that with Xiaomi device.
  2. Does CloudStream/ Saikou/ HDO max work on those devices?
  3. Can you pair DualShock4?
  4. Can you connect external HDD and play media from it
  5. Can you have desktop mode, in similar way whe you conect Huawei or Samsung phones to TV
  6. Can you pair BT keyboards, mice and headphones/earphones?

i got the mi stick 4k,

  1. yes all of the apps i side loaded worked, but used send files to tv app to transfer them

  2. its got micro usb (fyi), currently dont have a dock for this couldnt test

  3. samsung dex (wireless) worked for me, good experience on 5ghz wifi

  4. yup, supported devices show power level in the tv

Have the Xiaomi Mi 4K TV Streaming Stick, and a Fire TV 4k MAX Stick. Both are good.

The Xiaomi Mi 4K TV Streaming Stick is Google certified, which the Fire TV 4K MAX stick is not.

I have OTG cables for both, sideloading is as easy as on any other Android device I have had.

No issues playing from my USB memory sticks.

Pair well with my Sennheiser BT4.40 headphones.

Hey, not familiar with Xiaomi TV Stick, but am all Amazon devices, I own 2 Firesticks (regular 4K and 4K Max) and recently I bought the Fire TV Cube.

I would say that you go for the cube, sideloading is really easy, BT speakers and Headphones pair like a dream, the cube is way better than any stick, for media is my go to, the sticks are underpowered to stream 4K movies (on 3rd party apps) but it works great if you have some subscription (like Disney +, HBO Max, Netflix, etc.)

Am not a gamer myself, but I have seem you can pair almost any joystick to play games on it.

Also the cube has 16GB (you get like 11GB after the updates of the OS)

Nothing wrong the sticks,I like them both, the regular 4K is my device that I take to my friends house and watch movies, the 4K Max is on my living room and performs great, and the cube in my bedroom with the Philips 4K TV.

If you can invest a little more I say go for the cube all the way, you will have more power, storage space, and better performs all around.

Hallo, xiaomi tv stick 4k, pass auf, die Fernbedienung ist sehr langsam, es gibt keinen Dolby-Sound, vergleiche es einfach mit dem Dolby-Sound von Google TV, du wirst verstehen, danke
