I started trying to find replacement remotes for the Onn box today, but I couldn't figure out what would and wouldn't work with it. Everything that comes up on Amazon was either for specific TV sets running Android TV or for Chromecast with Google TV. I tried to check the Android TV Guide page, but the Remote Control Manufacturers button doesn't seem to work.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
Easy way to replace a broken or damaged Onn.4K remote is go back to Walmart and buy the $15 Onn. HD-stick, throw away the stick, and pair new remote to the Onn.4K device. Buying an alternative Bluetooth remote is going to cost you just as much or more, so getting the Onn. stick just to have an extra remote for backup is smart.
The Onn.4K will work with most other "Bluetooth" remotes, but like the other comment stated already not all the buttons will work correctly, and the most common problem is the D-pad_Center button sends the ENTER signal instead of the SELECT signal which causes problems with some apps, especially with Gboard.
