not enough storage space to install Disney plus. over 8 gigs available. tcl.

Is anybody else running into this issue? There was a recent update to the Disney plus app. When trying to install, it gives the error of "not enough space". I checked storage and there is more than 8 gigs available. I can't believe the app would be bigger than 8. I uninstalled the app, reset TV cache, rebooted the TV. Still giving me the error. Anybody with ideas?

Are you sure? 8gb of free space sounds like maybe twice what a TV would have total.

I had a similar issue and had to do a factory reset on my androidtv

It's a bug in the Android TV Play store. For some apps, you have to go into your apps area and clear the data for play services if I remember correctly, it will then update just fine. I had the same thing happen about a year ago
