TL,DR : Xiaomi remote numbers doesn't work. Is the remote the problem ?
I've been using a Xiaomi Mi Box S with a basic TV for 3 years.
Recently, I discovered an easier app for my parents to watch TV. The purpose is to access a channel by pressing the number associated. It works really well with a Logitech Keyboard connected via the Unify USB.
Unfortunately, the stock remote doesn't have any numbers so I bought one branded Xiaomi on A**express.
Unfortunately it doesn't work. It didn't have any problems for associating it, the other buttons work perfectly.
My parents won't use the keyboard.

This remote is for Xiaomi P1 TV. Not for Xiaomi Mi Box unfortunately.
