Help with picking an android tv box

by An_Independent_Birb

I ended up with 3 options, the Meecool km2, Strong Leap-s1 or Thomson THA100.

On the spec sheet they're literally the same, but i read a review about a THA100 buyer who had smoothing applied to his content no matter what media player he uses (Kodi, VLC, ...) and made it look so bad. He said and i quote: "24 fps looks like soap opera".

I just want to know from anyone that owns one of these devices about their picture and playback quality? is there really smoothing applied to the content you're watching?

Also one more thing, can the remote of one device work with another box? eg: can the meecool km2 controller work with the leap-s1 box?

RE: The Thomson box -- that sounds like a television setting. I've not ever seen an Android box that offers frame interpolation.

Just buy a nvidia shield pro you won't regret it. Even the 2015 shield pro is still getting updates.

Those 3 are exactly the same box, with a different brand name. Skyworth is the manufacturer, and the firmware will be the same too.
