Edit 2: I did a factory reset and now my channels are updating again.

Running Android 9 on a Hisense H8G.

I'm having an issue with the homescreen channels. Starting a few months ago they stopped updating, namely YouTube. I enjoyed having the "Recommended" channel enabled because I watch a lot of YouTube.

I can't get it to recommend me new content at all. It's been stuck on the same 10 recommendations for months. I've tried force stopping the app and reopening, resetting the app entirely, and completely factory resetting my TV. Since factory resetting, the recommended channel is just the recommendations for the non-signed-in account.

It's not just YouTube either. HBO, Netflix, and Crunchyroll all have the same issue. The channels used to update when I would turn on my TV, but now they haven't refreshed for months. Has anybody else had this issue? Were you able to resolve it?

Edit: I managed to get YouTube to refresh once tonight. All I did was start the app, wait a few moments, and then hit the back button until I reached the home screen (NOT the home button). I couldn't get it to do it again though.
