I'm searching for a box which is like a Shield TV, but with HDR on youtube working.
So Dolby Vision + processing (to Dolby MAT 2.0 or so) or passthrough for TrueHD with Atmos and maybe DTS:X (not mandatory but nice to have)
+ Support for either VP9 Profile 2 and/or AV1
No. Shield TV is the only Android TV device that supports bitstreaming of lossless HD audio codecs like TrueHD.
Like Nvidia shield as equally powerfull hardware? Answer is no
mabye an xbox series s (yes very very very overkill) but afaik its the only entertainmaint device that can do what u need
Only the Shield does TrueHD passthrough.
