TLDR: GTV-BT1 is not a universal remote but it has so much promise. Hoping Formuler folks can chime in!

I've been looking at some simple universal remotes lately and wanted something better than the URC 7935 but not the Sofabaton stuff.

I came across the Formuler GTV-BT1 ( https://www.formuler.tv/gtv-bt1 ) and been reading their forums ( https://www.formuler-support.tv/forum/thread/6912-formuler-remote-app-update-version-1-2-5-and-firmware-version-0-5-3d/ ).

The physical remote supports Bluetooth (Android TV) and also IR (for TVs and other devices, has learning mode and simple set codes) which is then paired with an Android app that helps with customizing the buttons and controls even further.

The application itself is unfortunately locked to Formuler STB only but it looks a lot like the Shield's Remote setup wizard. There has also been many great improvements with the application and device support such as allowing the volume buttons (not the IR ones) to control another device's volume.

I feel like Formuler would have another winner product it was made compatible for all Android TVs!
