Question: USB drive to expand the storage for app

Hi, I am planning to buy 1TB USB drive to expand the storage for Sony Bravia X85J. I am going to use to install apps like gaming. When I look up the price on amazon, there is a wide price range from Sandisk's $150 to $25. Is the cheap one around $25 okay or do I need super expensive one?

Since it will stay in the tv you wont need a rugged one. Looks at the Samsung fit.

Have the same TV and same flash drive, just in 128gb. It’s worth it because of how fast it is. Not all drives are created equal. Cheap ones can have horribly low read and write speeds.
