Changing play Store region on Nvidia shield

Does anyone know of a guide to change the region of the play store? I'm trying to download an app that isn't available in the US. I tried searching through the sub but all the references to this haven't quite gotten me there. I tried side loading the apk but it briefly opens in a mobile aspect ratio and then crashes. I think the only apks I can find are from the mobile version of the app and not the Android TV. I downloaded my VPN app on the shield and connected to the UAE but that hasn't done the trick on the play store... The app is available in the United Arab Emirates, any tips or guides?

You can't afaik.

Either sideload the app (the "Android TV" version, if it's available) or get an UAE gmail account

iunno which VPN u have but I have ipvanish n then I patiently wait for my device to recognize n catch on. u may have to uninstall whatever version of the app u have before going back to check the playstore to download the Arabia version of the app... u may have to use a diff email n make any account n fill out the location to match UAE... someone in the other sub explained it better than I jus did...

I checked ur post n I was right... yeah fig it out n take advantage of it before it gets taken down or they fig it out. wish they hadn't posted that info on the official sub but whatever.
