How to turn off the Xiaomi Mi Box S ?

Hi guys, I recently bought a Xiaomi Mi Box S and I just don't know which is the best way to turn off it. I mean, is it enough just to use the remote control or should I also disconnect the power cable?

I know it is a newbie question, but this is my first android box.

Yes, the remote is enough. Just out of curiosity, why are you asking this question? Are you worried of energy consumption?
