Been a few days now. Every other tab works. Uninstalled and reInstalled multiple times. Cleared data and cache. Logged in and out. Uninstalled updates. Forced stop. Any other suggestions?
Try to clear YouTube cache or data and see is the problem has solved
I have the same issue with both Shield and my TV which are running Android TV.
Occurs with both official app and 3rd party app.
Phone and web browser are unaffected.
Give SmartTubeNext a try instead, works very well, has SponsorBlock support for skipping in-video-ads, doesnt replace your official YT app, doesnt require root, just sideload the .apk
