I've had my stream 4k for awhile and I've loved it. Recently I picked up a 4k tv for the first time after my 1080p model finally died and I just set up my TiVo. It seems to be working alright, but whenever I try to switch the video quality to 4k in SmartTubeNext or the official YouTube app the TiVo immediately reboots.
It's directly plugged into the outlet with the adapter rather than USB and I've factory reset it twice. I've also set the HDMI port to the 2.0 setting and the auto setting and I get the same results regardless. It's fully updated. Any idea what the issue could be?
I was having problems with random reboots until I replace the charging plug that came with it (1 amp, I think) with a different one that is rated for 2 amps. No probs since. Have seen others with similar problem and same solution. Give it a try.
