I think you should though
Why would you not want to update? So you want an insecure and unstable OS on your expensive TV? Features you can turn off.
You can try another APP Named EMOTN for better results and trouble for similar problems.
Only way is to allow the update. It may not automatically update but it's not going to stop asking you to do it.
