so, what is the best external media player for Mi Box or Android TV in general? I'm using MX Player, with SW it lags a bit and feels very slow especially when fast forwarding, HW+ has a problem with colors. VLC lags a lot.
P.S: I tried them with only 1 video so far, it's Anime mkv 10Bit BD. is there any player or should I get an Nvidia Shield?

Both Mibox and Shield TV can't play H264 10Bit..

MX Player or its Pro version are the best I have experienced so far. I tried a lot of different ones. These are the best I encountered.
Mx player pro is the best, and trust me I've tried them all. Mx player is worth buying. Of course I'm one of the beta testers
VLC works for me.
