Netflix issues with Sony Smart TV

Hey all, so I've been having an issue with the Netflix app on my Sony XE9005 TV (running android 9.0).
It's getting to the point where I have to hard reset the TV each time I try to run the app as all I get is a black screen. Restarting the TV (holding the power button) fixes this but it's annoying to have to do it each time. None of my other apps have this issue, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not that it’s much help - but I have been having the exact same issue on the A90j too.

Felt like it started happening after a recent update.
