Chromecast TV Input Button Remap

Hey everyone, I've been trying to remap the "Input" button (bottom right) of my Chromecast TV remote. I have no use for switching inputs and want it to turn on my projector (the power button turns on my amp).

I've seen numerous posts around talking about "Button Mapper", however the app fails to recognize the Input button (let alone map it to a power IR signal for projector).

Anyone have any ideas?

I strongly doubt that it would work because it is an ir button. You can use the power button on the remote to turn on the projector tho.
