Xiaomi Mi TV stick not working

I bought a Xiaomi Mi TV stick brand new today but it’s not turning on for some reason. I’ve been watching YouTube videos on the stick and it seems that as soon as people plug it in, it lights up and connects to the TV. However, mine doesn’t even light up. And I don’t know if I am doing something wrong

Buying the Mi TV Stick in 2022 is a shame.

Make sure you use the included adapter.

It should start by itself as soon as you plug the power source in it.

Can you see a white led anywhere on the stock ? Is it into the HDMI port fully ?
