Philips 7600 series Google login problem

When I try to sign into my Google account it doesn't work. It runs Android 5.1.1 and I want to update Google services, but I don't know how. Any solutions? (I can't continue the login from another device)

Did you mean you want to update "Google Play Services" on the TV?

If yes, then it can be done using the following steps:

  • Install a browser from play store, or by sideloading (if you already have one installed, skip this step)
  • Go to the browser & search "Google Play Services"
  • From the search results, tap on the link that says "Google Play Services- Apps on Google Play" (it's usually the first link)
  • It'll take you to the play store page of Google Play Services
  • Tap on "update"
