I recently switched from an Apple TV to a Google TV. Sometimes on its on and sometimes after I turn off the TV and Google TV with the remote the TV stops working.
It can’t be turned on, even from the button on the TV. I have to disconnect the TV from the power cable and start over.
I want to keep this thing over Apple TV but if I can’t fix this, my wife is going to throw it out a window.
Thoughts?
Notes - I have set up the Google TV remote to the Vizio with the setup process.
Find the remote programming in the settings and Redo the setup process, see if you can select IR instead of CEC to control the Power button. Might have to disable CEC in both the TV and the Chromecast-GTV if reprogramming remote doesn't work.
