Evening all, are there actually any AndroidTV devices out there that fully supports Multichannel PCM?
Excluding the Nvidia Shield as that is out of my budget.
Seems to be a rarity and I am beginning to pull my hair out.

Well, they always had support until Android 9 arrived, for some reason (perhaps a bug) it got downmixed to stereo except on the Shield of course, then Android 10 arrived to save the day.
Where do you find these multichannel PCM files. i'll test some out.
I'm also looking for an Android device that supports multi-channel PCM so I can output 5.1 surround with Moonlight.
Has anyone found an Android device that can do this? Also tested it with Moonlight?
My JBL 5.1 has Dolby Pro II which I think up mixes Stereo PCM to Multichannel 5.1. Though it won't be true surround, but I hardly find the difference in most situations.
Isn't there any such feature in your Soundbar?
Android TV devices running Android TV 10 or higher supports it afaik
