Has anybody tried to make a full backup of their tv's OS for the purpose of disaster recovery? There are various Android tools to do this on a phone, so I'm wondering if its possible on a TV. I have a Sony kd75x85j and I've been adding apps from the Play store, but it would be nice to have a fallback plan if I mess something up.
Without root access it's nearly impossible to hard brick an android device just by installing a bunch of apps. Worst case scenario, you just need to factory reset the tv.
