Someone keeps attempting to pair to my TV

I have a Hisense H8F Smart TV and someone nonstop is trying to pair a Bluetooth device to my TV and interrupts what I’m watching. I can’t seem to turn off Bluetooth in order to stop them from pairing. Any suggestions on how to stop this or find out who it is? I live alone btw so not a family member.

Thank you

Try this app available on Android TV playstore to disable Bluetooth Discovery :

It is likely a neighbour by mistake

download (button mapper remap your keys) from the app store and map a button to one of the keys on your remote.......set toggle bluetooth to one of the keys, you can either choose long press or double press or single press. So everytime you press that button it will switch your bluetooth OFF or ON....(Dont worry yo tv remote will still work as long its using both infrared and bluetooth to connect to your tv)

Just disconnect your TV from the power, for an hour. It could be they also bought the same tv as you have. Or change the name of your TV, to something very different.

This happened to me about a month ago, I assume it was a neighbor trying to connect to his own TV by mistake.

I searched online and there's a way to ignore devices from the TV menu (Samsung) maybe your TV can do the same.
