Update: I tried it out with a different TV and it worked.
I tried to play around with the audio settings but had no success... YouTube and Netflix (sideloaded) work fine.
Anyone can help?

I believe HBO_Max tries to output all audio in standard DolbyDigital (AC3 codec), so adjust the audio settings on the TV and/or Soundbar to match; and in the KM6 adjust the SurroundSound settings between 'Auto' and 'Off'.
I just recently bought a Mecool km6 delux. HBOmax and Disney+ worked fine in the beginning but now those two apps don’t have sound. Netflix, YouTube and prime all working fine with sound.
I have tried everything and I can’t get HBOmax and Disney+ sound to work, video works fine.
Anyone found a resolve for this yet?
I finally managed to get the sound working. Under device preferences/sound selected manual and ticked all except Dolby Atmos in Dolby digital plus. Yay
I had this problem on one of my old tv boxes but can't remember which one. Anyway, I solved it by fiddling with the Dolby sound settings.
