It seems like the YouTube app has recently been updated and signed out of the accounts I've been logged into and used for years. So when I log in (Through YouTube/activate) it works fine, but if I try to switch to a different account, instead of having the option to log into a separate account, it just straight up logs you out and tells you to log back in with the activate link in a browser. Why is this a thing now? Is anyone else experiencing this?
Mine was signed out this morning.
Some weird stuff is going on. Yesterday i found out i was suddenly using one of my connected alt accounts instead of my main. I then manually switched the app back to my main account. This morning, like the other commenter, i was completely signed out.
And suddenly my Video Playback Speed button is gone!
mine is fine...
So far nothing like that for me. I just checked and I'm still signed into my main account. I swapped to another account and back to the main with no problem.
My Sony Bravia has been like this since I bought it 1.5 years ago. I wish it had account switch like I had on the fire tv 😕
I was forced to log in again today on my Nebula projector.
Since I don't use other accounts for YouTube, can't say if it affects account switching.
