TCL series 5 google tv increase speed?

since google tv is like an android phone, if i go to developer mode and turn on "Don't Keep activities" what will this do? and set background process limit to "none", will this speed up the tcl google tv? has anyone tried this out? or will it caused issues? anyone tried this on android tv? thanks.

I set my TCL 50S546 to limit background processes to 1 and it definitely sped things up considerably. I think the TV just doesn't have enough RAM.

Given how Android apps usually work, I believe that'll only improve the device's responsiveness if it's low on RAM. I would advise against it, honestly. Is the TCL tv too bad?
