If you are worried about electric bill, it's less than 10W, comparable to slow mobile charger. That is unless your TV is also on constantly.
It's built to stay on all the time same as all other devices of it's kind.
Possibly collecting personal data, increased power consumption.
Interesting. When im switching channels I see logo on the middle, once. When im turning off the TV and and then turning On. I see that logo when the TV is up. HDMI-CEC is completely off.
