Hello everyone,
Spent the evenning looking up android tv boxes as I am tired of having a laggy user experience on my android tv.
As such, my main criteria is fluidity. Second is having a box that boots fast, and "just works", especially in the long run. I only use my TV for Netflix and Prime video.
I've decided to buy either the CCGTV (chrome cast with google tv) or the Mecool KM2. Based in the criterias, what box would be best for me ? I can buy both of them for roughly the same price.

CCGTV supports Dolby Vision and Atmos, Meecool KM2 does not. If you fancy having those 2 then go with CCGTV.
CCWGTV just works for everything. and i dont know about Mecool KM2 because i dont have that

Different types of tvbox… Chromecast- dongle.
Mecool - box (Ethernet port, 2x usb , optical audio, micro sd card reader).
If you don’t need USB port because you only will use to streaming services go with Chromecast BTW you can use a usb hub to get Ethernet port and usb on the Chromecast

Mecool km2.. it's just a more complete android box. Optical output, direct sd expansion without needing external usb ports, cheaper too. The thing about dongle types is that they are so small they tend to overheat easier compared to a full sized android box. I just threw away my tivo stream(dongle type) that got damaged from heating issues.
For the updates, i think you'll be fine, my scrap phone is running on Android 7 and it still can play most apps including netflix. Using android 10, meecool probably It will be slightly outdated in 3 or 4 years , but far from not being able to run frequently used apps like netflix or YouTube.
You won't go wrong with either, but i vote for mecool
Mecool has an amlogic s905x2, Chromecast has the s905d3, it's a generation younger. Neither reads av1, the format used by most youtube videos, also being used on netflix and soon everywhere else. So pick an amazon stick 4k max that reads av1, has wifi 6, hdmi 2.1, etc or if you really, for some illogical reason, want android tv, go with a box using amlogic s905x4 (compatible with av1), like the youin you box, the new xiaomi stick, etc.
Mistake correction: the youin has a s905x3 processor, therefore not compatible with av1. Sorry!
