This box continues to impress. Freaking $20 with a much better remote, more free storage, and more often updated than Google's own device. There is nothing that comes close value-wise.
Just got the update on my three ONN UHD 4K devices.
This is an amazing little device. I actually purchased the devices 2 weeks ago. I sold my CCWGT for $40 USD to a co-worker, and purchased three ONN devices for $60 ($20 each).
The remote is vastly superior on the ONN device compared to the CCWGT. And Plex works better too; I had tons of problem on the CCWGT running Plex (specially with the subtitles).
This is still the best value Android TV box on the market.

Haven't noticed any diffs. As it was, my ONN boxes never needed a reboot or acted up from background apps, unlike my Firesticks.

Yeah I'm 50 years old. My mom is 70. I use an Nvidia shield. But I put a ONN in her living room and her bedroom. She loves these little boxes. Said she's never had a problem with them.
Love this lil guy. Thinking of getting another for the in-laws even though I have 3 $15 Tivo 4k gathering dust in the closet. The layout is nicer on the ONN since it's running a newer version of ATV.
Firmware is now 1.01.34 other than the Jan 2022 patch. Just checked mine and there's no differences that I can see.
I'm very happy with this device. Ordered my Onn box from USA to Europe and I'm also getting all the updates.
Of the 4 i own i do have one that is doing the odd remote disconnect issue where sometimes it takes a dozen tries to get the remote connected again and then it just disconnects again an hour a later. Let see if this firmware helps!

Has anyone found a decent *powered* OTG connector with multiple female usb 2.0 adapters that will work really well with the ONN? Want to use a flash drive and also a joypad and mouse/keyboard
I've been trying to update to this latest version but something strange happens: first the download bar goes all the way to 100% rather quickly. Then the download bar goes back to the beginning and proceeds to 100% more slowly. It again gets to the end and goes back to zero. Only this time it gets completely stuck at the exact same point: About the 20% mark.
Anyone else seeing this?
I can confirm the remote issue persists through the latest updates.
It's clearly an issue with the box and not the remote.
I can change the volume and turn off the TV, but pressing the other buttons does nothing once it depairs. I have to unplug the box in order to end a stream and leave it unplugged for a while to get it to recognize the remote.
Hello everyone. I recently factory reset this unit because I've been having issues with the remote and CEC. Now I see that it cannot be updated. It has been updated twice since I bought it in December last year. Do you know if there is any way to force the updates? Or should I just wait?

Has anyone notice with the onn streaming box you have to continually repaired your headphone device. 🎧 In the remotes & accessories selection it doesn't have connect to device selection.I hope the andriod update corrects this problem.

Sad that basically everyone is beating Google at updates at this point, even a device that costs less than half as much.
