I'm trying to add my 2k stick to my internet, but need the MAC address to do that. Its not letting me go into settings to get the MAC address without connecting to wifi first, which I can't do without the MAC address so I'm in a bitch of a catch 22. Anyone had this problem? My wifi is through bluerim, which requires signing in, but its just not pulling up the sign in page.
Don't know why your WiFi is asking for MAC address to connect a device to the internet.
Usually the stick should search for available WiFi networks, then you select yours from the list & type the password.
The MAC address should be in settings> device preferences>about> status
