I have a number of films stored on GoogleDrive. Is it possible to play these directly on AndroidTV without screen mirroring etc?
Also some films are in .MKV format if theres an extension that needs to be installed to play these? Otherwise most of the films are in .avi, .mp4 etc.
sideload it from apkmirror... make sure it's a compatible vers...

You can install a Google drive add-on in Kodi so that it can play media directly from there.
You can install MixPlorer or Xplorer and select add storage or server click on Google Drive allow your account to connect with the app and you are done if any issue persists reply me
Install Xplore File Manager from the Play Store and log into your Google Drive account with it. Xplore comes with a video player.
