fast and reliable Fire TV stick competitors?

I'm looking for something to buy, but see

Fire TV stick 4K.

Bought one nas was impressed by how fast and reliable it is, plus it's cheap and the controller is great. Only it died on the second day and I got a refund. Plus, I prefer Google stuff, so no integration with those AND FireOS and its store didn't impress me.

2.Realme TV stick 4K. Boufht this because Google TV has a great interface and I saw more than a dozen positive reviews about it Turns out it's a crappy streaming device. Performance is abysmal and I'm probably throwing it in the trash bin. Worst purchase in a year.

RetroArch makes the thing freeze.

Xiaomi TV I had very bad experiences with Xiaomi, I think it's a trashy brand and I'm steering clear from anything they make.
CCwGTV Perfect on paper, I wanted this one, BUT it costs $120 here and does not support my language, which means no google Assistant
ONN TV stick, cheap, but I fear terrible performance despite dozens of positive reviews, like the Realme TV stick. Plus, it doesn't sell outside the US, which means I'll need to pay an extra $20 for parcel forwarding, kinda defeating the purpose of buying something that cheap

Any ideas? Google TV is a plus but tbh honest I don't care, as long as it

Provides standard Android TV rather than fake skins,
it runs Netflix and certified apps
Doesn't turn into a massive slug after installing a dozen apps (Realme stick has this issue)
Can run RetroArch for things like SNES and psx

the onn boxes are fantastic for the price. i got rid of every firestick 4k and 4k max and replaced with the onn's and ill never look back again especially when you fully clean the onn and use a nice launcher. no way.

I recommend onn tv box, even with the extra $20 shipping. It is very snappy and havent had any issues

Im using onn android box and love it, I have also xiaomi box and i can say onn for the cheaper price is a great device.. You cannot go wrong it..

Which Xiaomi device did you have, Mi Box 3/S or Mi TV Stick?
If possible, try to import the CCwGTV from the US. It costs $80-$100 in my country, so I ordered it during the Black Friday deal. It cost me only $56 😁
Mecool boxes are interesting (got some necessary ports), but they're expensive. Also, out of all their boxes, only the KM2 has Netflix & Prime Video certification.
