What are some of the best budget boxes that support HD/DRM content?

by zakpreto

I've seen a lot of people here that Netflix doesn't work properly in mi boxes.

I want to okay content from prime video, Netflix and HBO Max in HD. I also like playing emulators occasionally, stuff like PS1, PSP and SNES.

Any other feature is not important to me. Even the emulators, if I can get those streaming services working fine.

Nvidia shield is out of reach to me.

What do you recommend?

This device running the latest Amlogic SoC, and Android 11 will be available middle of January.

MECOOL Netflix 4K Streaming Google TV Stick KD3 based on Amlogic S905Y4.

MECOOL KD3 is a new Netflix and Google Certified Android TV Stick, which is powered by an Amlogic S905Y4 processor, runs on the latest Google TV OS.

Except for the old features of MECOOL Android TV box which including built-in Chromecast, Google Assistant supported, 4K HDR, Prime Video, Youtube 4K, etc, it also supports Netflix 4K streaming like MECOOL KM2 TV BOX!

I got the mecool km2 reasently for the price I feel it was a good buy the remote really is top of the bunch it's fast can easily add extra storage nice easy interface customization could be better but many launchers out there it has a power button witch for me is great you can get a cheaper box but the mecool km2 remote is best out there right now at least.

Tivo Stream 4K . They've been averaging between $25-$40 and the remote is top notch.

prime video, Netflix and HBO Max in HD. These work best with Chromecast with Google tv. I haven't used stuff like PS1, PSP and SNES

Mi-Box has been working very well here for years, 3 version. So has a Fire TV 4k stick, and of course my Shield TV Pro has no issues either.
