Philips TV stuck in a boot loop after security update.

by pottedcloset

Model no is 43PFL5604/F7 A. I updated it recently, wasn't a forced update so I feel stupider for having done it. Can't find any way to reset it online that doesn't involve going through the menus. There's no reset button, I have power, source, and volume up and down on the back. Tried finding firmware to maybe set it back an update or two, nothing online, nothing on the philips website. If anyone has any ideas, or can help at all, I'd be immensely grateful. Not sure if we got a warranty in the first place, but if we did, it still would be too long since the purchase lol.

I've tried several different ways of resetting it, holding power and volume down while plugging it in, source and volume down, just the power button, nothing seems to do anything.

Did you try to unplug your tv from power for at least 2 minutes?

Has this been solved? My philips is doing a start loop similar to this. Shows the logo and beeps, goes to next screen and turns off. Repeat indefinitely. Tried buttons on back, buttons on remote, and unplugging for a minute as well as overnight.
